Who we are

If you own a premium apartment I Málaga and rent it out on Airbnb - or are thinking about it - you know the feeling. Updates that say “all good” but no proof. Issues that get fixed, but not properly. A standard that quietly slips over time. That’s exactly the gap Benjamin Bertoldo and Henrik Sorensson built Malaga2Rent to close.

Why we stay small

From day one, we decided: never more than 30 apartments. Not because we couldn't grow, but because we knew that the moment we prioritized volume over quality, the standard could slip. With 30 apartments and a team of nine, we can answer at 11 PM, review every report thoroughly, and treat your apartment the way we'd want ours treated.

What makes us different

We combine Nordic systems with local expertise. Benjamin and Henrik bring Nordic standards — doing things the right way, in the right order, with documentation and transparency. Our team of seven local professionals brings deep Malaga knowledge and trusted networks built over 11 years. The result: premium standards that actually hold, backed by people who know this city inside out.

Where we're going

We're not trying to become the biggest property manager in Malaga. We're focused on being the best for owners who value transparency, consistency, and premium standards. That means staying at 30 apartments, deepening relationships with the owners we work with, and continuing to deliver results that match your expectations — not excuses.

BENJAMIN BERTOLDO

Co-founder & Property Manager

Benjamin has been living and working in Malaga since 2015, bringing extensive experience in real estate and hospitality to Malaga2Rent. As co-founder, he oversees property management, logistics, and daily operations — making sure every detail runs smoothly and every owner gets the attention they deserve. His solution-oriented approach and ability to communicate in four languages mean problems get resolved quickly, clearly, and in your preferred language. Benjamin is driven by getting things done right the first time, with no delays and no excuses. When he´s not managing properties, you´ll find him on the padel court.

HENRIK SORENSSON

CEO & Compliance Manager

Henrik has been living in Malaga since 2019, bringing a background in insurance and risk management to his role as CEO and compliance manager. He oversees property management strategy and ensures every apartment meets all legal requirements — so you never have to worry about permits, regulations, or unexpected fines. His calm, thoughtful, and meticulous approach means nothing gets overlooked, and every decision is made with both compliance and your best interests in mind. Henrik is driven by the opportunity to work, live, and enjoy everything Malaga has to offer. Outside of work, he loves playing padel and experimenting in the kitchen.
